The final session of a two-day seminar on counseling in which Ahmad Sakr, who is experienced in the field of social services, provides for the Muslim community useful pointers in the area of depression treatment and prevention. Although Islam is the way of peace and happiness, many Muslims unfortunately find themselves in such a state of depression due to weakness, ignorance, or other reasons. This session is a good starting point for these people or those who find themselves headed in that direction. Other topics discussed: making salat, children as a source of joy, zabiha meat, kosher gelatin?, and companionship in Paradise.
