A discussion about the many difficulties encountered when dealing with Muslim family problems and the need for conciliation and other solutions. Dr. Sakr looks at what the Qur’an and Sunnah say about islah (conciliation) in general and in specific circumstances. Also covered are ways for the Muslim to increase his or her spirituality. In the second talk, a specific real-life experience is conveyed by the speaker which evolves into an interesting dialogue between the participants about various issues relevant to the topic. Other topics discussed: empty talk, giving sadaqa, Islamic arbitration, making money for services provided, courtship before marriage, and Rashid Kalifah.
